I started not to write this… I feel like a broken record, with this unrequited love thing and all…

Here we stand in a crowded room… we arrived separately, not knowing that the other would be here.  Our eyes meet from across the room… I quickly look away.  I feel uncomfortable in your presence, sensing my awkwardness you try to make me feel at ease. You catch my attention and ask me to come to you, “Closer… closer… no closer.”  Here we stand, face- to- face, lips barely missing each other.  My emotions overtake me as I look into your eyes.  I see you looking back at me as if you’re looking into me…into my soul.   I retreat, giving into the moment…

Love and Friendship – Are They Synonymous?

By Christine Crotts

There are many ways of looking at this very common question that people ask; love and friendship: are they synonymous? The simplest answer to this is that love and friendship are not synonymous however friendship can lead to love. It basically depends upon a person’s perception and how he sees a particular relationship specially that of friendship. There are several individuals who prefer being friends with someone they love either to reach that level where they can show their love or if they find out that the person is involved with someone else. In either case, the concept of friendship is devastated.

by Life’s Profylactic

The innocence of the love we share
The sweet innocence of each sensual kiss
The innocent taste of me,
Residing upon your lips
The innocence of the hugs we share
As your body presses firmly against mine
In a dare to accentuate the emotions in you to the emotions in me
The innocence of us cuddling
Me stroking your soft skin
Wrappin you like blankets in front of a fireplace on a cold winters morning
In our own secluded cabin of our love’s intimate innocence
Heating your blood with love,
Tender
Love, like that sensual kiss
Let me grab you HARD,
